Below you will find these terms that are for reservations made directly from the accommodation’s website, and payments made via gateway system through CM PAYMENTS B.V.: organisation authorized by the Bank of Portugal and partner of RoomRaccoon B.V.

Anticipated Check-Out

If the customer leaves before the original date and hour of check-out, he or she will have to pay for the previously agreed stay.

Cancellation Policy

All reservation rates at properties owned by Curiosa Cotovia, Lda. are subject to a Cancellation Policy. When the customer wishes to cancel their reservation, they must receive confirmation of this cancellation through a written response from the following email address: “reservations@drafthostelandrooms.com”. In case of a guest cancelling a refundable rate, the guest is entitled to a 50% refund of the stay's price. In case of choosing a non-refundable rate, the guest is not entitled to any refund. If check-in is not made on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show, and the reservation will be cancelled as described in the Cancellation Policy. The guest can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 5 days before the stay. This excludes groups (more than 6 people) whose reservation cancellation always implies a 50% payment of the stay's price. We reserve the right to cancel or alter reservations that do not comply with our terms and conditions. In cases of cancellations mentioned above, Curiosa Cotovia, Lda. is not obligated to guarantee new available reservations or better rates. A new reservation with the best available rate must be made by the guest at the time of the new reservation. As a condition for using this website, the guest/customer will be fully responsible for any bank fees and/or costs necessary to complete the bank fund transaction(s). The guest acknowledges that the reservation and personal contact information provided are correct for validation purposes of the hostel.

Pricing Errors

Curiosa Cotovia, Lda. reserves the right to cancel contracts at any time based on incorrect information regarding prices or services.

Foreign Currency

Only the currency used in the reservation is valid

Transfers

In the rare and unexpected event that the property cannot provide the previously confirmed accommodation, it will comply with its standards by transferring guests to an alternative property of equal or higher level at no cost to the guest. If there is no property of equal or higher level than the original reservation available, it may be necessary to provide a property of lower level to customers. In this case, customers will be refunded for any cost reduction. The alternatives presented are the responsibility of the property. If the guest chooses a property of a different level from the alternatives presented under this condition, the customer will be required to pay any difference.

Notwithstanding any contrary information contained in these Terms and Conditions, Curiosa Cotovia, Lda. shall not be liable for indirect damages, damages arising from subsequent damages or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of use, loss of opportunities, arising from the performance or non-performance of obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

Insurance

Curiosa Cotovia, Lda. strongly recommends the purchase of Comprehensive Travel Insurance. We suggest that the policy covers, but is not limited to, the following: loss of payment due to cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical treatment expenses.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute, the consumer may resort to the Alternative Dispute Resolution entity of the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Lisboa, at Rua dos Douradores nº 116, 2nd floor 1100 - 207 Lisbon, phone number +351218807030 and email address juridico@centroarbitragemlisboa.pt.

Minimum Age Requirement for Members: 18 years or older, if the legal age is defined as such in your country of residence. Customers aged 16 and above can stay if accompanied by an adult and with written consent from their legal guardian. Each member is responsible for their profile, and credentials, and for maintaining the confidentiality of their data, being responsible for all activity on their account.

Protection of Personal Data

The personal data collected by Curiosa Cotovia, Lda. are limited to the necessary data for the guest/customer's reservation. In the absence of information, Curiosa Cotovia cannot record any reservations. The set of personal data collected will be subject to automated processing, with Curiosa Cotovia, Lda. being responsible for the processing. Under EU Directives 95/46/EC, 2002/58/EC, and 2006/24/EC, the customer has the right to access, amend, correct, and delete personal data concerning them by writing directly to the registered office at adm@drafthostelandrooms.com and the address Rua dos Correeiros 70, 3rd floor, 1100 – 162 Lisbon.
